I’m Bethany, your self-proclaimed macro-friendly Chef (okay, maybe not officially, but let’s roll with it). I’ve got the knack for turning your favourite dishes into lower-calorie wonders, so you can kiss goodbye to those overly restrictive diets that lead nowhere.

Over the last year, I’ve been fortunate to gain over 600,000 followers on social media, all thanks to my passion for creating simple and tasty low-calorie recipes. My mission is to help everyone develop a better relationship with fat loss and actually enjoy their food!

This journey began because, like many of you, I have a HUGE appetite. I always found it challenging to sustain fat loss while still savouring delicious meals. I used to think it was an either-or situation: lose fat OR eat nice food. But after years of experimenting and educating myself on how to make low-calorie swaps and understand nutrition, I’ve crafted the ultimate collection of recipes.

I can't rave about this cookbook enough, every single recipe looks amazing and is so macro friendly. All super easy to follow, delicious and fast to make, which completely removes the 'I don't have time' attitude or the 'healthy meals are boring' stigma. It's so useful to have a range of recipes in each section to suit the days when you need to prep ahead to days when you have a chance to cook at home. I particularly love how much detail Bethany has included in the introduction, which is something I've not seen in a cookbook before. This is super useful to refer to as you navigate your fitness journey. It's a cookbook that is also a learning tool! I've been a big fan of Bethany's recipes for a while, so I can't wait to continue to work my way through the cookbook!

This cookbook is exactly what I've been looking for! It's brilliant! The recipes are easy to follow, tasty, filling and inexpensive to make. Following a gluten and wheat free diet isn't always easy- loads of Bethany's recipes are naturally free from or can be easily adapted. There are also so many additional gems in the book like shopping lists so you know what to buy and calorie calculations for all the recipes. You can also calculate your target calories and macros which is fantastic for helping you stack on track and have a clear understanding for any weight loss goals. I've tried lots of cookbooks over the years- this one is by far my favourite and well worth buying. The steak baguette, tuna crunch brownie overnight oats are a couple that I've been making on repeat already and still loads to try out. Love it.. hope there are more cookbooks coming.

Wow!! This book is epic! The recipes are delicious - the sweet chilli chicken burger is a fav so far! I am a massive foodie and love all things sweet & savoury and this book covers it all!! The information in the book is amazing, I have learnt a lot more about macros and calorie intake and the low calorie swaps page is a huge bonus! All of the meals I have made so far have all been so quick and SO easy which is a huge win for me being a busy full time working mum of 2 young kids! Another bonus - the kids have loved every meal so far too & have enjoyed making the meals with me! I can't wait for the next one.

Since Bethany announced she was launching her recipe book I couldn’t wait to see what recipes would be in here as I have used Bethany’s recipes for a long while now, and they really do help with my fitness journey! Bethany has thought of every single detail of ‘The Macro Friendly Cookbook’- from nutritional info, meal planners, food intolerances and simplicity of recipes. There are no silly long lists of ingredients, just simple ingredients you will already have in your cupboard. The recipes are so quick and simple to follow, perfect for when you are short on time but want a meal you will enjoy and are decent calories and protein. The Cheesey Stuffed Salmon and Raspberry Jam Breakfast Cheesecake was a personal favourite!

The cookbook gives your practical advice about calories and macros but also helps you stay on track with this by including a shopping list and swap items to suit your individual needs. The recipes are "normal food" done in a quick, tasty and healthy way. They are flavourful, easy to follow and use everyday ingredients saving you money buying lots of new ingredients.
